I call waiter make e bring bill.
As I raise hand, waiter rush come. Everybody dey press phone, pretend like dem busy.
Nobody talk, only WhatsApp dey vibrate for pocket. Even the waiter dey wait for drama.
I calculate the guys share, send am to Tunde for WhatsApp:
“I don pay for the guys, including you. You fit settle the girls own. Abeg, we drink well today—no late for work tomorrow.”
You know say for Naija, WhatsApp dey save person from public wahala. I drop am there, make e no get excuse.
As I dey go, I see Tunde face dey change colour, dey green like ugu leaf.
